Mr. Dalyn Drown

 Mr. Dalyn Drown received his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Vermont and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago.  

    Mr. Drown has been a teacher and administrator for the past 26 years. He is entering his 11th year as the Principal of Burr Oak and Burr Oak Academy in Calumet School District 132. Mr. Drown is a 2017 Golden Apple Stanley C. Golder Award Leader of Distinction recipient and also was awarded the Those Who Excel Award for School Administrator, by the Illinois State Board of Education in 2014. 

   Mr. Drown is married to Emily and has three children; Cecelia, Tucker, and Sadie.
